Is this too weak? I obviously didn't like the King's raise but the Ace's call didn't help either.

I think it's okay to fold this. I probably would have folded, too. Villain raises, after you completed in early position, and with an ace left to act behind him. Therefore I'd give him credit for kings, and if he indeed has them, you're in bad shape. But then, I'm a beginner too. Wink

I figured I was probably behind to a pair of Kings but wondered whether this would open me up to being bluff raised when completing in future hands. If I'd had an A with the queens I might have seen 4th street and folded unimproved but the dead queen may still have swung this to a fold. I might be giving my opponents too much credit for paying attention to others' cards though (re future bluff). I've found that at the micro-limits I have to keep dipping into the Poker Mindset as so many people go to 7th street with nothing more than a weak pair hoping for a miracle, and with 3 or 4 doing so on any hand you just know a beat is coming.
