How bad is this call? I think I could have folded, but he had a wide range of hands and had been pushing quite a bit. I'm still not convinced a call was worth it though... especially since everyone was even stacked and the blinds were quite big.

He needs to be on about 22+,A2+,K3o+,K2s+,Q9o+,Q6s+,JTo,J9s+,T9s for this to be break-even. That's actually very nearly the equilibrium pushing range, but I wouldn't expect a random at the 6.50s to shove that wide, and I'd also expect a non-random (you) to have enough edge to want to fold an equity-flip.
As a first approximation, I'd want about 66+/AT+ to call.
