I think I made many mistakes this hand since I was obviously ahead preflop, think I played it too passively? Only won 19BB's with this monster...

Rubbish. Preflop, flop and turn horribly passive. You should have folded on the river out of pure shame. Wink

perhaps you were a little passive with such a monster, but any more agressive, and you would have tipped off your opponent that you had him dominated and he might have folded. I think the play here is very plyer dependent.

I agree with rob, I don't think it was that bad. Yes you could have reraised the flop on your massive draw (you are a mathematical favorite to win the hand with 2 cards to come at this point), but the slowplay on the turn is fine once it hits.

edit: but to answer your question "I think I made many mistakes this hand since I was obviously ahead preflop", yes the only place you probably made a mistake was not raising preflop. It is not worth slowplaying a hand like this preflop because on a loose table you are definitely going to get some callers.

Way too passive IMO... I play 53o as if it's a pocket pair of aces!!

I like the preflop slow play...give him some rope then WHAM!

Any good comments after this hand?
