| Since I believe there are more poker players playing on Friday night, Saturday and Sunday, any reason why PR would be tighter on the wekend then during business hours during the week? |

| Hmmm......good to know. I have been avoiding playing on the weekends because of all the one-play-wonders (all-in PF all the time idiots). They drive me nuts. Maybe Pokerroom can help me keep some sanity while playing MTTs on the weekends. |

I'm afraid it's not going to be just on the weekends, Pisci. I'd noticed it getting considerably tighter the whole of last week. The last 3 days, it was so tight (and very small pots), I couldn't even sit at a table. I couldn't believe it was PR skins, it's been so differerent. Yesterday, for the first time ever, over a period of about 2 hours mid-day, there wasn't even ONE $3/6 table going. Aarrrgh... super disappointing since these skins had become my main source of play, probably 80% of my entire weekly playing time.
Where am I going to play now? AP is down the toilet. I'm about as disappointed in Stars. They have had average pots, but 17-24% see flop. Ridiculous. You'd think it was $20/40, or higher. I've had this vague nagging feeling-- is this the time ith'r's were talking about when the play has become more educated, and for whatever reason, the fish are disappearing? Man, I hope not. |

| I've also noticed a drop in the numbers of players to the flop and avg. pot size across most networks. There are good games out there, but not as plentiful right now. |

Bingo.Hit on the nail-which is why I jumped ship from the PR skins the past few weeks. |

| Between the combination of PR's rake (highest on the whole net for 2/4 and 3/6) and the unprofitable tables, is there EVER a good time to be playing on the Poker Room network? Honestly, I have no desire to go there again until I'm playing 5/10 and higher exclusively where things start to improve a bit. |

Poker Room 2/4 is horrible now -- you're lucky to ever find a table with more than ~28% to the flop!. Occasionally you can find a decent 3/6 table [if any are even running!]. No idea what's happened to the site. I don't think it's just the Hollywood reloads.
The number of players also seems to be shrinking. Like River mentioned, it's getting difficult to even find 3/6 tables - let alone good ones. |

| Doesn't it stand to reason that the games will dry up a bit during the summer months? The sun comes out, the heat goes up, and the casual players are more likely to spend their free time outside that they are in front of a computer screen. |

Average pots at 2/4 FR LHE less than $10
Glad I only signed up for the 7x Hollywood bonus
I've got around $500 in bonus lined up at PokerRoom at 10x. Can't see me doing much of that if the tables continue the way they are. |

Urrgghh Friday evening midnight UK time 6 tables of FR LHE $2/4 all with average pots $15 or under, around 25% seeing the (PT figures approx 16%) and too many good players.
Got $200 more to go at 7x (Hollywood) |

maddydog, do you have bonuses stacked elsewhere? If not, drop to $1/$2 when the $2/$4 tables are like that. You may work the bonus off slower, but the fish at this level when you are running average will allow you to make as much or more than you will at a tight $2/$4 table.
I actually found the $1/$2 tables this evening very loose. Lost 14BBs but it wasn't becuase of poor play or good players. I was just getting sucked out on continuously. I win so consistently at PR [and skins] at $1/$2, that it ometimes makes it worth my while to chase at this limit. |

Agree completely, Pisci. I've earned thousands in bonuses at $1/2 at PR and skins. Not only is $1/2 consistently looser, but I had no problem working off bonuses at that level. None. Also, FWIW, now that my level of choice is $3/6 and I've a lot of experience at this limit, at PR, the play is much better at $2/4 than $3/6. Odd, but true. If the highest you play is $2/4, multi-table 2 tables at $1/2. You'll come out ahead AND earn your bonus.
My $.02, |

Go WPEX my friends.
I just finished a session of 160 hands of 2/4 and here's the players stats at the table VPIP/PFR:
Player 1 54/26
Player 2 35/18
Player 3 (me) 35/20 (what a fish, but this isn't normal for me)
Player 4 35/12
Player 5 23/5
Player 6 42/18
Aggressive yes, but loose enough to be profitable. And the 100% rakeback really accumulates fast.
Well you can find better tables at Party, but you'll pay 2-3 BB per 100 in rake.
And the PR bonuses, could someone figure out how much it costs to play there while chasing a bonus. As I recall, it wasn't that good of a deal. |
