Matthew,
I remember reading a post from you about the 2nd version of ITH. Do you know when that is going to go to print plus what kind of changes have been made to the book from ver. 1.
Thanks |

This project has been delayed once again. With any luck I hope to get it out by the end of the year.
I will be adding at least a couple of new chapters, probably on short-handed play and playing in loose games. I want to update the Internet content such as playing multiple tables and poker software. I might look at developing a starting hand chart for the advanced concepts section. I also want to go through the entire book and just make it read better.

Are you going to add a section on finding those loose games? Other than road-tripping to where ITHers are playing. |

On second thought, maybe a better title for that chapter will be something like Strategies in Multi-Way Pots. Thanks for the idea. The material really isn't about loose games, but some topics when several players see the flop. The subject matter is discussed in different sections of ITH but I want to put some more focus on it such as raising draws for value.

Matthew, I'm not sure what kind of detail you want to get into about the available types of software for online play but I personally think that type of content would be a great fit for your book, being that it is specifically geared toward internet play.
Even incorporating some high level guidelines of pokertracker data might make a good Chapter. Something along the lines of that Intro to Pokertracker article that was written for ITH, by darvon I think.
Anyways, it is just a thought on how you can further differentiate the content in your book compared to other books, that don't specifically address online play. |

I think this would be a great Ideal for a book. But a chapter will work for now. |

Two things. I do plan on expanding the section on Poker Software into a lot more detail. For very detailed Poker Tracker analysis, get Winning Tough Holdem Games just released by 2+2. This book is definitely geared towards Poker Tracker users.
