"I'm a big believer in fate," Kinnipak said that night. "I have a bad feeling about this. That's all I'm gonna say."
I don't think there is a lack of intensity or desire by the US team. I think the Euro's just have too much talent. Anything can happen, but I fancy this will be something close to a blowout. |

| Europe on paper are just far far better but.....................no Tiger, which is a plus for the USA, and Faldo as Captain who I think may be the European equivalent of Hal Sutton, and you have a recipe for a US win. |

It's the Faldo factor that worries me, although as of writing Europe are up in two and down in 1 of the opening foursomes........
One thing i think is certain, it'll be a bit closer than last time |

It does seem in recent years that being the favorite is a bad thing. However, you guys would seem to have a huge edge this year. |

Harrington/Karlsson have given up two strokes on back to back holes. Its getting interesting now.
By the way, does Sergio get up for Ryder Cup or what? He's incredible. |

Hmm... so 3-1 down in the morning and things not exactly going to plan in the afternoon.... could there be an upset on the cards this year?
Not that the bookies (in the UK at least) would regard it as much of an upset. I was surprised this morning when I looked at the newspaper and saw that they had the match more or less as "pick 'em", as you would say in the US. |

Erm... maybe he's letting the others play themselves into form? |

9-7 down: it could have been a lot worse. I haven't seen any of it yet but will be parking myself in front of the tv for the singles this evening. |

Ive watched a fair bit of the golf ... its either that or palying poker or carrying on with stripping and sanding down the stair bannister's etc ( is there a worse job ? )
Europe did well to be only 2 behind ... i fancy their chances today ..
Must say that Anthony Kim is getting right up my nose ... there is doing it .. and there is over doing it .... and hes easily the latter .. |

Kim started birdie-birdie to go one up on Sergio. If he beats Sergio in the opener, things look dire indeed for the Euros. |
