Here River, I copied and pasted this from a thread in the Gen.board...
Well, gonna try to be a "contributing member" here...
Joined WPX today, as just finished Betfred and wasnt exactly sure where I wanna go next. Thought I would give this a go and check out the site, since it has been getting so much discussion here and at BW.
Played a few short sessions today at .50/1.00, the software is slowwwww, lag time after you decide if you dont pre-decide what you gonna do, I got disconnected once earlier this afternoon, restarted and logged back on and was fine after that. Probably played @ 150 hands today and so far, up $13 on the tables and $3.13 in rake pending for Monday (release date) At this level, the play is comparable to Party, at least a couple of the rooms I was in....if you play your premium hands, let the donks run up the pots and rake, you will win and get good rakeback. I could easily see this being my "between chases" home from now on.....
So, give me a "postive vote" on this one.....so far. If anything changes, will post. |

For a 2/4 and 3/6 player, this is a site that is constantly offering a better deal than any bonus I can find. Even Rakeback with Bonus at Crypto sites are significantly worse.
The software has some shortcomings, traffic is lite, but I think it's still the best site that can be found (for the limits I play). I'll be playing WPX a lot. |

Thanks very much, style. I intend to move that thread into this forum in a few days. All contributions are appreciated.
When I asked wpex for a link to their poker T&C becz I couldn't find them on their site (only for the sportsbook part), it took 2 e-mails. They finally sent me a link to "poker rules" which had very little to do with any T&C's. For instance, the info about limiting cash withdrawals in a certain time period, and what the charge is for more-- how often they pay the rakeback, etc. I'm now waiting on a new link. A little frustrating... I look forward to getting started. |

Thanks, fep. You know, I highly doubt they have any poker T&C's.

I'll bet you didn't. The only reason it's No. 1 on my list of priorities now is becz of the disaster with PlayersEdge. I was so fortunate to get out of there with my $1k. I learned my lesson well, and won't join a site without reading them.
In the case of wpex, I'm pretty convinced they have none, per se. Think I'll go make my deposit now. |

Want to post this info under the main Discussion thread for them:
Not only is this best, most profitable, site, ever, in terms of rakeback vs. bonuses (no other site bonuses come close), but my cash-out was in my neteller account in under 5 minutes. |

I can confirm cashout speed. I'm routinely stunned by how fast the money gets back to Neteller.
My only serious problem with the site is the ratholing. You can rathole on the NL tables and only have to sit out 1 hand. It gets frustrating sitting with a fish who's running well and taking money off the table.
Other than that, I'm consistently satisfied with WPX. They added 5max NL tables recently and I'm loving that. |

Just started playing there tonight. In 3 hrs. of 2 tabling 2/4 & 3/6 I earned $49 in rake. The tables are a little softer than where I usually play, AP, and though the site said there were only 1500 players onsite I had zero trouble finding a game.
At my level of play I can easily get $1000 plus in rakeback each month. About double what I currently get at AP and I don't have to drop down to 1/2 to find a game.
My only concern is that things that seem to good to be true usually are. At some point I'm sure they'll turn off the spigot. |

Why do you say nyet? What is the incentive after (if?) traffic reaches critical mass to continue 100% rakeback? I see them at some point going to a 50/50 split. Still better than other RB but less than initially established. At some point any reasonable business model has to turn a profit.
Don't get me wrong, I hope this lasts forever. I see no reason to play elsewhere. According to the rakeback site I use I've paid out $3174 in rake the last 2 months. I'd love to have the other 72% of that back. |

Seriously, they'd have to eat some crow to make that change. They have insisted they are rake free as a benifit to their sports bettors and their casino patrons and that they are going to keep it that way.
I'm not saying it absolutely won't happen but I'm saying it's possible it won't happen. |

It was just a flippant, off-the-cuff, remark. If I were to give the reason behind it, it would be what fep has said. They've (the owners) have sworn up and down that it's not a gimmick or short-term. They advertise in all the card magazines. Of course they can change it. I just don't think it will be tomorrow, or even next month. Anyone that makes sports wagers, please use wsex!! |

How do you find the level of play there? I only have about 1200 hands but so far I'm finding them to be pretty LAG. Taken a lot of bad beats on the river so far from chasers. There always seems to be 2-3 players who chase right down to the river. Have you had to adjust your style of play? |
