If you are even half way compatent in NL Texas Hold 'Em, you can win 70% of the time playing the turbo $2 NL heads up games. I think my winning percentage is around 80%, no joke.
I think if someone had the patience and motivation, they could multitable the $2 turbo heads up games and make like $20/hr, cuz half the games end in 3 minutes due to opponent being all in on 25% of their hands preflop.
Someone with time and the ability to stick to an ABC game plan should test this theory and play as many $2 heads up games as they can in like a 2 hour span. |

I actually played 3 $11 turbo HU on bodog AFTER busting out at a cash game. In my very tilted and tired state of mind I still won all three.
Now, I wouldn't suggest playing on tilt or tired but it does go to show that anybody with half their brain cells firing can do well at HU turbo's |

| My first day on Cake, I played one of these. It was an easy win as my opponent was a complete and total rock, but I found it flat out boring. It was tedious and took me a little off my game as I found a couple instances where I was pushing the guy when I shouldn't have. |

The $2 HU games have a large rake compared to other levels at 7.5%. You should never pay over 5% for single HUSNG. Besides a strong winning player will almost certainly be profitable at higher levels.
I've been starting to learn this game recently. From a small sample size I'm good up to the $11. Unfortunately my foray into the $22 ended in tilt induced disaster after my first opponant survived 6 allins and I blew my bankroll yet again with stupid play afterwards. The worst thing was I ended up playing HU Omaha once by accident! That was $23 straight down the drain as I'm play money standard at that game.
I'll give it a few days and then come back for more punishment. Maybe one of these days I'll learn to control myself and hold onto my winnings. |

| This is why I usually use the custom option so I don't get the wrong tourny! You're better off getting the wrong stakes rather than the wrong game, although you might not see it that way if you lose. Maybe I should be playing on Bodog rather than Full Tilt, or somewhere else perhaps as my options aren't restricted. I need softer games at the $10-$22 level I usually play at for various tournies. |

| I think playing $2 HU turbos is very profitable, but, as mentioned earlier, if you are just above average you should be making more money in the $10 and $20 HU turbos... i actually think I beat those games fairly constant and easily... not the same history on the $30 and $50 turbos (specially the $50 turbos). on those limits Ive had a really really hard time to make some money, it can be done but you will face some though opponents, and even the donkeys will get lucky some times lol...overall I think $20 HU turbos on pokerstars are the most profitable for me |
