In the Site Rating thread, in response to my add'l comment, "Not open to making it PT compatible so after much pleading, I withdrew my br," maddogmike replied:
| Quote: | | PT is working on an interface right now for CD and other iPoker sites. On the PT website, Pat says he needs some hand histories to complete the work. |
This is good to know. I'd heard something along this line. Can't wait! I don't play there anymore so no hh's to send. Hopefully someone who sees this will request theirs from CS, and send them to Pat. |

First time using the site and so far I'm impressed with their support and responsiveness.
I recently had an email from CD Poker offering a 150% initial deposit bonus up to $500, an added, immeadiate cash bonus of $15 plus a tournament token. Two days ago I decided to take them up on their offer and deposited $335 to earn the $500 max bonus. I was quite disappointed to see they had only given me a 50% bonus; $167.50. I emailed their support and this morning logged on to find a response to my email, they were as good as their word, I now have pending bonus dollars of $502.50, my cash balance is up the additional $15 and I have a token into the $1,500 Special tourney, good until Nov 7th.
Not sure how long it's going to take to clear this thing, I need to earn 50,000 CD Points. I think it's going to take awhile to clear at $1/$2, so far I've played 291 hands and earned 325pts. I've been planning to take another run at $2/$4 and since this bonus clears as it's earned ($10 released for every 1,000 CD Points earned) this looks like a good spot to try the move, the bonus will make a nice cushion.
Sadly this bonus may not be of much use to US players as PlayTech has asked all licencees to block US players as soon as practically possible following the act's implementation. I'm not sure if that means as soon as Bush signs the bill or 270 days down the road. |

Jane, that's all well and good. I found the bonus pretty easy to earn, but they only recently changed it to the insane earn rate of 10k per $100. (At Noble, at least if you start a table, you can earn 1-1/2 or 2 points per earn-- double of whatever the regular earning rate is). I loved the CD software, and now that it's pt-compatible, it's just about perfect.
My complaint, and why I w/d my funds there, was because of the the little bonus like they gave you-- the $15. It was e-mail offer when I had no money there. They said it was mine, just for coming back to play. Didn't even need to make a deposit, although I did. When I went to w/d my money, they wouldn't let me have that $15. I forget what the hitch was, but it was the principle, for me. They never said I had to do anything to get it, just come play. To be that petty about an unsolicited offer, with no up-front, stated requirements, irked me. I left the $15, w/d the rest, and played an sng I think, or blew it in some way. It actually took almost a week to get my money becz they kept cancelling my withdrawals and not telling me (becz I was w/d'g the entire amount). I'd wait 2 days for it to hit neteller, then try again. This went on and on, w/plenty of e-mails sent to them, believe me.
I may return if there's not another bonus available anywhere else on the planet. |

Well, this was a mistake, should have done more research
The $500 looked enticing but it took me 315 hands at $1/$2 plus 355 hands at $2/$4, 670 hands total to clear $10 in bonus $0.015 per hand. That's crazy! InterPoker, Party and PokerRoom bonuses run at $0.05-$0.06 per hand.
Maybe the iPoker bonuses are more profitable at higher levels, don't know but I sure don't want to spend any more time there. I was happy with the software and the support but the traffic was light, only 1 or 2 tables going at each level and the play was tough, mostly TAG's and TAZ's; if there were a few LPP's at the table they were eaten up very quickly, often before I even got a chance at a hand with them!
Time to scope out other sites. |

rotflmao .... guess what River? Just received this from CD Poker
| Quote: | Note that the withdrawal amount was credited back to your account and you are welcome to cash out any balance excluding the bonus. If you wish to forfeit your bonus, please make cash out request once again but leave the bonus amount given to you in your balance.
If you wish to cash out the bonus , please accumulate an additional 1145 CD Points. Once you have completed the requirements, you can resubmit your withdrawal request and it will be processed as soon as possible.

Maybe all your bitchin' at them prompted them to change their system
I too got the $15 bonus (wish I'd kept the email, can't remember the exact wording now). They want me to earn another 1,145 points to clear the $15. Let's see, I earned 1,180 points already so that's 2,325 CD points in total that I'd need if I want to cash out the $15. I played 680 hands to earn the 1,180 pts, 680 / 1180 = 57.6% so another 1,145 x 57.6% = 660. That would give an earn rate of $15 / (680 + 670) = $0.011. Wow! An offer I can't refuse |

Do your homework in future There's plenty of venting on here (from me if no-one else) about how crappy the iPoker bonuses were/are at 1/2 or lower.
(Aside to RiverC - is this evidence to suggest that separate discussion and Site Rating threads isn't necessarily a good idea? It would seem that jane hasn't seen the latter). |

Jane, I'm sorry for the bummer for you. It's confirmation that it wasn't just me, thinking their earn rate is the worst! I hope they lose whatever customers they have.

Those were exactly my feelings. Then, the petty thing with the unsolicited $15 bonus offer, sealed the deal.

Do you mean because they notified you instead of letting you wait until you discovered that the cash-out didn't happen on your own? There's no mention in their offer of any requirements needed to have that money. They simply say CD is giving you $15 to come play. No deposit needed. Just log on to your account. They stink. |
