Is it actually illegal to play poker online if you are from one of these states? As in felonious, go to prison and change my name to "Rubber Beach Ball" since that is the way I would be treated?
What happens if you were registered at say, UB prior to the ban going into effect. Does that somehow "grandfather" you in?
Last question: Someone I know from my state, which is on the banned list, opened a new account at an online site with no troubles at all. Wouldn't the site ban him from playing or is that at the players risk which leads me back to question 1.
Since you mentioned the 11-state ban, you're likely talking about the Prima ban. I'm not certain that any other non-Prima site that accepts US players follows their lead.
