As a fledgling site, PKR is in the process of defining it's VIP Program, known as Club PKR. Players are awarded PKR Points [PP] for playing in raked cash games as well as tournaments. Club PKR has five levels of membership:
Club Member [all players start at this level]
Silver Club Member
Gold Club Member
Platinum Club Member
VIP Club Member
Players can always move up , but PKR will not move them down once they attain a level. Players will earn in game character enhancements, from clothes and accessories to new chip tricks. When PKR brings it's online store into being, players will be able to redeem their PP for merchandise in the store. Players will also be eligible for specific membership freerolls.
As improvements to their VIP Program become available, and upon launch of their online store occurs, ITH will update the information provided here.
Every time you play PKR you earn PKR Points [PP]. It’s simple - the more you play, the more you earn and you can get yourself up to 150 points on a single hand.
Earning PKR Points in tournaments
You get 100 PP points for every $1 you spend in entry fees. This applies to your entry fee only and not to re-buys.
Earning PKR Points on real money tables
PP are awarded on raked hands played on real money tables. They are calculated against the amount that you’ve put into the pot divided between the other players at the table. That means the bigger the pot, the more PP everyone gets. Your points are also based on the amount that you put into the pot – so the more you contribute yourself, the more PP you’ll earn in the hand. One PP equals $0.01 in rake.
Here are some examples of how PKR Points would be rewarded in real game situations…
Hand 1
In a 4 handed cash game with a $50 pot raked at $2.50 a player who bet a total of $9 would receive 45 points (reflecting the 18% of the pot they contributed).
Hand 2
In a six handed game where the rake has been capped at PKR’s maximum rake limit and a player has contributed $30 to a pot that reaches a total of $101.50 the total points awarded would be 89 (or 29.5% of the pot).
