As many of you know, ITHer Toronexti won last year's ITH WSOP league, and with it an entry to the 2006 WSOP ME. Mere whippersnapper that he was, however, he wasn't actually eligible to join in the fun with us in Vegas, and was instead forced to wait for his shot in the form of an entry to the WPT Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure, an $8000 buy-in event held January 4-11. Not unexpectedly he managed to wade through the field of 937 entrants and secure a ~$10K payday for his 139th place finish.
We at ITH would like to take this opportunity to congratulate him once again on his performance and wish him even better luck in his next major event. WSOP ME in 2008?

My-o-my. BIG congrats! Wish there was some way I could cash in on the fact that I led you to ITH...  It'd be the only way I'm ever likely to earn any money in a tourney-related event!

toro has been a guest star playing for SharkDAQ once, but I think he is adequately bank rolled to play the Stars Million without having to give up some of his equity to the fund. |

Ah-HA... forgot that little part of the game... (Did he win us any $$? I'm still on p. 23, but determined to get through the whole thread by tonight.) Weeellll... just in the interest of giving back, why don't you play one Sunday a month for the gipper... errr... team?   |

| Granted, I took my eyes away for a few minutes, but I don't see him here. I'll bump and maybe he'll see. Also, since I'm just coming back here after a week, maybe there's some noise in the SharkDak tome. |
