I played 2 MTT's today, one $5 90 man doublestack, and a $2 rebuy with 220 runners. I placed 3rd in the doublestack for $50, and 2nd in the rebuy for $150. Halfway decent ROI for the day.
HU in the rebuy was a joke. The guy only knew how to fold or push the pot-raise button, so it ended up being a lot of folding and reraising for me. It took about 30 minutes before I finally got him all in, and my A 10 got cracked by his A 5 when a lonely 5 hit on the river. 3 outer, nice. I then managed to double my crippled stack once, and then had JJ on the BTN when he raised/called my all in with 22. Of course he hit his 2 on the turn to crack my JJ, and finish me off. Grats him.
Anyway, was an eventful day and I frankly needed a little boost, both to my confidence and BR. My BR was stuck at the nearly the same number for like a week.
