"Back in the late 90’s, before he became sidetracked with writing songs about Michael Jackson, George Bush and vomit, Eminem released a catchy song entitled ‘Guilty Conscience’. It was a song about the two voices that talk to you, one ‘bad voice’ (played by Eminem) representing temptation to commit crime or do what is wrong and one ‘good voice’ (played by Dr Dre) representing logic, reason and morality. It told a story of various scenarios where you might hear the two voices, sometimes one winning and sometimes the other. "

I guess my version of what I thought tilt was seems to be right in one of the catagories(too loose)But I had not considered the other 2 much.I must admit I have done all 3.I have been at my wits end a few times and I think I tended to play the way I had been beaten. If I had aces and got beat by rags,I played rags.I have noticed that a player for some reason had me targeted and would call every preflop raise I put in or would reraise me if I just called no matter his cards I became passive after the flop and became a calling station.(i hate these confrontations still the most)I have also put it on autopilot when someone plays very fast against me.(instant raises, calls, and folds.I have noticed I fell into a trap of making a decision way to fast just because my opponent was.I have mostly averted playing too loose or fast but passive tilt
still creeps up on me.Especially when I get beat while having my opponent dominated or them catching there trips or 2 pair on the river. If I could get over this situation as it seems to happen alot I would be much richer BR and spiritualy.

I don't know if I've said this recently, but Piemaster has amassed a nice body of work with these articles. Well done, sir.

Hi Pie ... good article. Although I think my worst tilts happen when there's no voice; nothing like being emptied headed for a 100 or so hands to drain your bankroll. And then both voices start screaming Smile
