I was looking up the rake schedule for Pokerroom on one of their skins - Holdempoker.com, and I came across this bonus:
100% to $666 first deposit bonus. Clears at 7X on the Pokerroom points schedule. (You can do it in 2 deposits, also - kinda strange.)
If you play $2/4 and above, this is one helluva bonus.
There is also a reload 20% up to $100 at 7X for those of us who already have an account there.

They don't do affiliate links (Ammbo tried to get ITH signed up last month) so if anyone wants to cut me a refer-a-friend deal for this find, PM me before you sign up! (It's worth an extra $10 for you, also!) |

| Whats the clearing rate for 1/2 at these sites Bull? How is the evening traffic and level of play? I'm wondering if this would be a good one to chase next week. |

At $1/2 and below, the bonus at Absolute Poker clears faster. At $2/4 and above, the holdempoker bonus will clear faster. This is because you are awarded points based on the rake at Holdempoker - the higher the rake, the more points for the hand.
This site is a Pokerroom skin, so traffic is quite good. |

| Does the bonus clear in portions or all at once? I don't have a Pokerroom account yet so I guess this is a general question about Pokerroom type bonuses. |

Quoted from their website. Basically clears in $100 increments
"To release the bonus you just need to play real money poker and collect player points. You will need to get 7 player points for each dollar of the bonus before it will be released. So using the example above you would need to get 700 player points to get your first $100 bonus and then another 700 player points to get your second $100 bonus. Player points are collected by playing poker for real money" |

I plan on depositing $400 so I can play a few tables of 2/4 and see how it clears. How are they on cashing out? If I cash out will I lose this bonus or does anyone know yet?

| I think PR skins are usually 90 days, but I can't find it on their website. This is a sweet bonus. |

| Yeah I can't find the terms for this one anywhere.. but pokerroom give 3 months on their signup bonus so I'd guess it'll be that. |

Looks like I will be on the Poker Network for a long, long time.
Recommended order to complete current Poker Network bonuses.
1) Holdempoker-Best clearing rate (7x)
2) Then deposit the very last day of the Pokerroom reload bonus. (10/27)(10x)
3) After finishing Pokerroom, signup for Checknraise bonus, (9x) releases in $10 increments, last day of offer is Nov. 30. This is a site Bob Ciaffone plugs in his books, I checked it out last month I think there was 25 active players. No wonder they relaunched as a Pokerroom skin
4) Hollywood Poker $10,000, when I signed up it was (15x), now (20x). I love playing on the Poker Network, but this will be played as a last resort.
Bull, I will hook you up. Just sent you a PM. |

Ok, I ran some quick, rough numbers using the hourly rates at BW for Hollywood Poker, which uses the same point structure and is on the same network. I used this formula, which seems sound: 20/7 (the number of points they have numbers for, divided by the number of points holdempoker requires), then multiplied the answer by 3.03, the hourly rate they have for a 20x's bonus. I did it the same way using numbers from BetOnBet's 12x's bonus, and came up with the answers. I'm confident these are fairly accurate.
Ok, so it appears that the 7x's bonus clears at about $8.56/h
The 9x's bonus will clear at about $6.74 an hour.
Both are very good. Looks like I have two more boni to do in addition to Bet365 while waiting for my Crypto pins to arrive Plus the Pokerroom reload. I have a lot of playing to do... |

anyone got any suggestions on getting PT set up with this room? It seems like they're not saving hand histories on my pc. I've tried autodetect and manually setting it up, with no success. TIA

X3 tables at a time for me.
I can't find the expiration on this Holdempoker.com bonus either. The birthday signup bonus ($300) that they did in September was 60 days to clear. |

You must use the download version. The java version will not work with PT.
Then, go to the PT help files and look up how to activate the database where your HHs are going to be stored. The default is "Off" and you have to turn the feature "on". There are pictures of where to click in the PT help file. Then you have to configure the Pokerroom auto-import to find where your database file is.
Finally, don't forget to add your alias!
Good Luck! |
