How fickle the town can be. One day, bb88 is atop everyone's list as most trusted villager, the next day he is swinging from a tree with a rope around his neck. Fortunately for the beleagured town, as he struggled to fight off the ever-tightening noose, his shirt pulled up and revealed the unmistakable tatto that belongs to all mafia men.
It is with a great sense of relief that the innocents head back to their homes this evening. It has been an epic struggle between the forces of good and evil and everyone tires of the ceaseless battling, even your humble narrator.
However, one last mafioso remains behind to battle on. The town can not sleep safely just yet. I await news on the next victim.

The one remaining mafia player is still just as deadly as when there were many of them. Sometime during the night, he set his sights on Tall Paul. Despite many allegations that he was destined for a warmer locations, it turns out he was an angel. There is only one special character left. Will the innocents figure out who it is?
Current status
It's currently Day 8 and the remaining citizens of ITHica include 1 mafia and 6 ordinary innocents.

Well done, all you guys who switched to bb. He was in my firmly innocent camp, so plainly I have no idea what's going on here.
I'm also getting spent, so I will gladly take the back seat to anyone's suggestions at this point. |

It saddens me that TP is gone. And was the angel. Guess SJ has a hat to eat!! And has egg on his face.
TP's last few posts are revealing to me.

So I took that post...and then began my review of bb88 notes...
Lynching bb88 was amazing. Not only was he BAD, he left an very long trail of notes. I went back and quickly reviewed…
BB88 was all over the place. Constantly accusing many many people, but yet he seemed to steer clear of Wynton.
In fact there was little interaction between these heavy posting Americans. I counted about 6 interactions ( I may have missed a few). See pages 66, 129, 130, 145, 150 ,182.
This is odd to me. Don’t Mafia like to distant themselves…leaving hardly any connections??
Given TP's suspscion and the fact that Wynton and bb88 hardly ever spoke to each other...led me to review Wynton once again..
Wynton in the beginning seemed so helpful. Getting us organized with the day/night page list. Then he came up with the investigation idea. Now some of us did investigations and some didn’t. He recommended on page 55 and I quote:

A very good Lynch day indeed. We have a very good chance of winning now. 6-1. TP we will finish off this last mafioso for you.
I will not be around this weekend. it is Canada Day tomoorw and I am going away for the long weekend. I will be back Monday afternoon.
I will vote now so I do not hurt us by missing 2 voting days.

Also a note to everyone:
When I was mafia in the first game I was the last one left alive. It was very difficult not having anyone to discuss my actions with.
After the previous days of heavy discussion it became real easy to make mistakes, and I did.
Just something we need to consider. |

I think I was assigned to investigate bb and bugs, but remember, I was not the person who came up with the system of assignments. Nor did I even suggest 2 assignments. My idea was merely that everyone should randomly investigate another person (though I approved of the 2 investigation idea).
As it turned out, I only did a review of bb, simply because I ran out of time to investigate bugs AND because my preliminary investigation of bugs led me to trust bb's investigation.
Of course, I was wrong about bb, but so were most of you, at least until the very end.
By the way, bb had me on his suspicious list a few times. |
