Scully, posting hands like this with no information at all about the other guy is roughly pointless. Against some players out there this is completely standard and against others it would be completely horrible.
With no reads at all I guess this is okay, you'll see sets sometimes and bigger pairs rarely and probably get looked up by 88-JJ often enough to break even on the play.

Neil - Apologies for lack of stats and reads - this comes from posting hands while playing 5 tables!!
At the time this guy had not been at the table long but seemed a little loose. Later PAHUD told me he was playing around a 45/25 game. I can't recall his post flop aggression number and I don't have PT with me right now, but from memory it certainly wasn't a green number on the HUD

In that case I have no problem with playing an overpair for stacks.
