Pacific Poker has a VIP Program which they refer to as the Pacific Poker Rewards program. Players gain Status Points for playing ring games, SnGs and MTTs. Depending on their VIP level, players earn Reward Points which can be converted into cash.

Players can redeem their Rewards Points at a rate of $10 for every 1,000 Rewards Points. Players may redeem a minimum of 1,000 Reward Points.

How to earn Status Points/Bonus Points

Status Points (SPs) are earned for every game or tournament you play.

Bonus Points (BPs) are used to clear your pending bonuses. BPs are accumulated only if you have an active pending bonus; check your bonuses in the 'Get Rewards' page in the Cashier.

You can earn SPs and BPs by:
  • Playing in poker ring games -earn 2 SPs + 2 BPs (if applicable) for every $1 of your contributed rake.*

  • Playing poker tournaments -earn 2 SPs + 2 BPs (if applicable) for every $1 of tournament fee.

  • Playing casino games (from your poker account) -earn 1 SP + 1 BP (if applicable) for every $16 wagered in the casino.

  • * Contributed rake refers to how much rake you are directly responsible for based on how much you contributed to the raked pot relative to the other players at the table. Example: If you bet $25 into a $100 pot (25%) and a $4.00 rake is taken from the table, you contributed $1.00 of rake (25%), which earns you 2 SPs and 2 BPs (if applicable).

    Play and Collect Points

When you are a money player at Pacific Poker, you automatically become part of the Pacific Poker rewards program. As you play at ring games, tournaments and casino games at Pacific Poker you'll collect Status Points and Reward Points. You don't have to do anything differently; the points will accumulate automatically.

From your personal rewards page you can see how many Status Points and Reward Points you have at any given time. In the poker lobby, you can see which status you belong to and track your Status Points accumulation by viewing the Status Progress Bar at the poker tables.

    Climb the Statuses

For every real money [Money Play as opposed to Practice Play] ring game, tournament and SnG game you play at Pacific Poker, you earn Status Points and Reward Points. The higher your status in the rewards program, the more benefits you get.

Pacific Poker's rewards program has 6 statuses. First come Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, which you can reach at any time of the month. On top of that, you have the highest statuses of the rewards program: VIP and VIP Diamond. Once you reach them, the benefits are yours to enjoy for a full year.

The amount of Status Points you accumulate determines your status in the rewards program. The more Status Points you earn, the closer you are to moving up to the next status.

    Monthly Statuses:

The moment you earn enough Status Points, you move up to the next monthly status, no matter if it is the beginning, middle or end of the month. You keep the same status from that day on until the end of the next calendar month. For example, if you move up to Silver on May 15, your status remains the same until June 30.

The moment you earn enough Status Points to reach the yearly statuses, you move up immediately to VIP or VIP Diamond. You keep this status for the next 12 consecutive months. For example, if you move up to VIP on May 15, 2009, your status remains the same until May 31, 2010.

    Status Progress Bars
You have 2 progress bars to help you keep track of your status in Pacific Poker rewards program. You can view the progress bar from the poker table and on your personal rewards page.

    Monthly Progress Bar:
Tracks your Status Points accumulation for monthly statuses Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. On the 1st of each month, the progress bar is reset to 0 and accumulation starts again.

    Yearly Progress Bar:
Tracks your Status Points accumulation for yearly statuses VIP and VIP Diamond. The yearly progress bar is not reset to 0 every month. It is only reset once a year on January 1, when accumulation starts again.

    Reward Points
Reward Points are payback for your loyalty to Pacific Poker. The best thing about these valuable points is that they carry over every month.

    Here's how it works:
Each time you collect Status Points for playing at ring games or tournaments or placing bets on casino games at Pacific Poker, Pacific Poker gives back by awarding you Reward Points. The higher your status, the more Reward Points you get.

Frequent Player Points versus Reward Points
FPPs (Frequent Player Points) are what we used to compensate our members in the past. If you had FPPs before the launch of our rewards program, they have been automatically transformed into Reward Points. For example, if in the past you had 700 FPPs, you now have 700 Reward Points.

    VIP and VIP Diamond Statuses

VIP and VIP Diamond are the reward program's most exclusive statuses. Unlike other poker rewards programs, once you reach Pacific Poker's VIP statuses you remain in that status for more than 12 months, guaranteed.

For example, as a VIP if you earn 10 Status Points, your Reward Points total will be 135. As a VIP Diamond, if you earn 10 Status Points your Reward Points total will be 180.

VIP and VIP Diamond members also have these unique benefits:
