Pacific Poker Software
Pacific Poker has gone to great lengths in changing their image inthe online poker world. Once thought of as a cliunky poker add-on which was tolerable because the games were so soft, Pacific Poker's software is now very good.
Pacific Poker's table is represented by a large round green felt. Players have 5 table and room designs to choose from. You also can select their own avatar from a stable of 21 characters. Avatars can be turned off or on at the player's choosing. Their are 5 different card back designs to choose from. Players have a note-taking ability with auto-wrap text features as well as a standardized labelling tool for tagging players. Ubfortunately, there is no individual statistics screens at the tables.
T he main menu software has become quite easy to use. Players have a multitude of ways to filter the main menus to facilitate which types of tables they wish to play. Among the items available for players are Average Pot, Hands and a "Players Seeing the Flop" percentage [available under the information icon for each table]. The taskbar at top allows the players a variety of actions to make their gaming go flawlessly. Players also have their account monetary totals visible on the main menu.
Overall, the changes made to Pacific Poker's software have elevated both game play and enjoyment. Gone are the days of clunky software. The soft games and fish are still here in abundance, however.

Piscivorous Discretionary Pacific Poker Bonus Rating
Pacific Poker is one of a few sites on the internet [Bodog is another] that puts a player's bonus money directly into their accoutn as useable, playable money when they make their deposit. Despite some of the drawbacks like not being able to cash it out or the smallness of the bonus, it is usually very easy to work their bonus off in the timeframe allotted.
These bonuses are always nice because they provide an immediate boost to a player's bankroll and players who wish to spend time at a site like Pacific Poker will appreciate a boost of this nature.
Pacific Poker's only negative with regard to their bonus is that they have not had a reload bonus since 2004.
