Noble Poker Software

Noble Poker's software was designed and is maintained by Playtech, a leader in online gaming software.

Noble Poker's main menus are fully-functional with many state-of-the-art features built in. Navigation is relatively easy. The main table and tournament menus are easy to use, and employ the industry standard "Players seeing flop" percentages and "hand per hour". The cashiering and account info menus are all very easy to use. Several buttons on the bottom of the software help players navigate their site.

Noble Poker features a standard green-felt table with cardback in red. The background is that of a tan floor. The graphics, themselves are somewhat easy on the eyes, but the avatars are a bit busy. There is, however, a feature that turns off the avatars and allows players to play without them. There is also dealer's voice which can be toggled on or off. Noble Poker does not offer a four-color deck.

The only problems with the software are miniscule. First, players cannot add chips to their stacks while they still have cards. Hand histories are saved as XML files rather than textfiles, which makes reviewing hand histories extremely difficult. Noble Poker has one of the worst note-taking functions in online poker. The size of the notepad is miniscule, and the function has no word-wrap capability. Finally, any action click is registered immediately. Players cannot click the button and drag-off the button if they change their minds.

Noble Poker's software has a tendency to disconnect players. Re-connecting is not automatic. This is a problem with all of the poker sites that share the iPoker platform.

Noble Poker Traffic

Noble Poker is part of the iPoker Network, which is a large conglomeration of oker sites with traffic running in the 10-15,000 player range during the week and peaking in the 20-30,000 range on a busy weekend. Players will find a consistent traffic base in cash games, SnGs and tournaments.

Noble Poker Games

Noble Poker offers a variety of games to it's players.

The most played game at Noble Poker is, of course, Texas Holdem. Stakes for fixed limit range from micro-limit $0.02/$0.04 to high limit $50/$100. At NL, buy-ins range from NL2 to NL2000. Players and tables can be found at both FL and NL at most limits and buy-ins. These tables run the gamut of heads-up to 10-man fullring. PL Holdem can be found at the lower buy-ins.

Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo and 7-Stud are all offered, but traffic in these games are scarce or non-existent.

Noble Poker has many players who play MTTs and SnGs. With freerolls, satellites, qualifiers and big guaranteed prizepool events, tournaments and SnGs can be found daily to suit the styles and buy-ins of most Noble Poker players.

Noble Poker takes the security of their website and player information seriously. Noble Poker is fully licensed by the Kahnawake Gamign Commission, and their Random Number Generator has been certified by Technical Systems Testing, a third party testing firm. Noble Poker's software is guarded by their use of sophisticated 128-bit SSL technology. Noble Poker uses state-of-the-art statistical analysis tools and expert vigilance to help thwart online collusion.

Noble Poker Customer Service

Noble Poker customer service is available via email, phone and fax. The email support is decent, but the quality of answers is sometimes cryptic. Telephone customer service is the best bet for those questions or concerns players may need swift replies to. Withdrawal speed is slow.

Poker Tracker Compatibility

Noble Poker is compatible with Poker Tracker on all cash and tournament games for Hold'em and Omaha. They also have an aut-import feature for hand histories.

Ability to Multitable

Players of Noble Poker may play up to 6 tables simultaneously.

Multiple Accounts per Household

There is no indication in Noble Poker's Terms and Conditions that multiple members of the same household cannot hold separate accounts at Noble Poker. Likewise, emails requesting information on their policies regarding multiple household accounts have not elicited a response from Noble Poker. Therefore, ITH suggests multiple household accounts should not be set up with Noble Poker at this time.

Reload Bonus Frequency

Noble Poker offered six reloads in 2005. There is every indication that they will offer slightly more reloads in 2006. Noble Poker's reloads run from the low-end [50% up to 50], to quite lucrative [60% up to $200]. Bonuses at Noble Poker are not stackable, so players who have a bonus still pending are ineligible for a reload bonus.

Tournaments with Overlays

A tournament overlay is the result of guaranteed prize money that is not offset by the participant's buy-ins. As such, all freerolls always offer an overlay.

Noble Poker has many guaranteed prizepool tournaments daily. Most of these guaranteed tournaments grant overlays, as the number of player's buy-ins do not offset the guaranteed prizepool.

Players earn 20 Crowns for each $1.00 in tournament fees. Players would therefore be awarded 100 Crowns for entering into a $50+$5 tournament. Liekwise, players entering a "Dirty Dozen" SnG with it's $2+$0.40 buy-in would earn 8 Crowns. This is equivalent to a 40% rakeback when clearing bonuses through tournament play.

Time Allowed to Clear Bonus

All bonuses at Noble Poker have an expiration date of 90 days from the time of deposit and being awarded the bonus.

Withdrawal Restrictions

Players are free to withdraw money from their accounts prior to completion of their bonuses. However, it is suggested that they wait 48 hours before doing so.

Noble Poker offers a large $250 bonus for it's initial depositors which pays out in $10 increments each time the player accrues 500 crowns. This is very achievable at $1/$2 and above, but micro-limit players will be better advised to pursue bonuses at other sites that are more amenable to these players. Bonuses are, unfortunately, not stackable at Noble Poker, but in any event they have not offered a reload bonus since December of 2006. With a somewhat decent tournament/SnG rakeback, Noble Poker is an iPoker site which has a borderline bonus. There are many other better opportunities for non-American players in the online poker industry, but the Noble Poker bonus is still attainable and can be cleared reliably at low stakes and higher.
