Name Steve Baumgarten, Jr Age Just turned 28 (1/26) Where are you from? Grew up in Iowa, moved to Mesa Arizona...wow almost two years ago Are you married? Children? Yes, with no kids What do you do for a living? Tech support in the banking industry. Starting my own website, we will see how that goes. How long have you been playing Internet poker? About 6 months What limits do you play? Currently $1/$2 and $10+1 SNG What is your favorite site and why? So far I like Ultimate Bet, They have had a ton of bonuses recently and It is a good place to improve your game, and I love the miniview. But I jump to Party/Empire every time they send me a bonus What has been your biggest poker thrill or achievement up to now? I placed 3rd in a Multi-table Freeroll, good for a $220 win. In two weeks I hope I can say I outlasted Matthew in both a limit and No Limit Tournament What area of your game are you currently focusing on? Better 30 second decisions. Some days I know exactly what to do and other days I don't feel I come to the right answer with the 30 sec internet clock If you could go back in time and start all over again on the Internet, what would you do differently? I don't think I need to. I started with $50 at Pacific and it shrunk to $8 but now I am playing on pure profit. What’s your favorite poker saying or phrase? Hey guys! Check this... all... reds! Topher Grace playing poker with Brad Pitt in Oceans Eleven Who is your favorite poker player (if you have one)? Phil Hellmuth, but only when he has chips in front of him....once they are all gone he is obnoxious! What are your other interests outside of poker? Movies, Baseball, Computers, and Travel. Feel free to add anything else you would like to say. Some of you think it is hard to explain why you enjoy poker and what exactly poker is to your wife, husband, significant other, etc. Not true! I think it is worse if your wife enjoys poker just as much and is too busy to play due to more important commitments (taking and passing the Bar Exam). I can't tell her about the time I rivered quads to beat the other guy who flopped quads, or the guy who caught a set of ducks on the river to beat my AA. If you interrupt her focus, and get her thinking about something else she would rather be doing, you are in big trouble!!!Look Steve up in the Poker Forum! |
