Gnuf Poker Software
Gnuf Poker runs the same MicroGaming [Prima] Poker software as most of the rest of the network. It is very functional and fluid.

Players at Gnuf Poker have 5 tables felts and flooring graphics to choose from. Players are represented by square, tan placards which can be optimized by player uploaded graphics. Player cardbacks are a lighter shade of blue with the Gnuf Poker logo. Players can choose the size of the table they play on from standard to large to mini. Players also have the opportunity to select preferred seating , so they always sit in the same seat. There is a 4-color deck option as well as a great note-taking tool, with a tagging option ,with auto-wrapping text and player tags to facilitate quickly recognizing various players around the table. As players fold, their placards change to yellow. Players may also toggle on an option that highlights opponent placard with colored borders to further enhance their observation of player activity.

The main menu is well-laid out with a number of filters available to make a player's navigation easier. Cash games and tournaments can be toggled in the left-side filters. However, if there are more than one page of tables for selection, they are laid out in contiguous pages which make it much more difficult to maneuver in and filter. Setting a filter by buy-in, for example, will not alter the entire page layouts from one page to another, but rather only on a per page basis. The cash game menus include hands per hour and average pot size as well as player percentage per flop.

Gnuf Poker's software is a bit slow, however. Items requiring refreshing sometimes take a while to do so, especially the tournament leaderboard screens. Like the main menu screens, the tournament position pages are contiguous and very difficult to navigate.

The table software atGnuf Poker flows with very few hang-ups and slowdowns in the action.
Gnuf Poker Traffic
Gnuf Poker belongs to the highly successful MicroGaming [Prima] Poker Network. This network and Gnuf Poker shares their tables and players among each other and this mutual stability lends itself to establishing the MicroGaming Poker Network as one of the largest and well trafficked poker networks on the internet.

Gnuf Poker Games
There is a large assortment of poker games that players at Gnuf Poker can participate in, including Texas Hold'em, 7 and 5 Card Stud, Omaha and 5-Card Draw.

Texas Hold'em is available in all forms with 10, 6 and 2 seat formats. Fixed Limit runs the gamut of blinds from Euro0.02/Euro0.04 to Euro25/Euro50 with most traffic at the Euro3/Euro6 and lower limits. PL is offered with buy-ins of PL10 to PL5000, and most traffic is centered around PL100 and lower. NL is available in buy-ins ranging from NL4 to NL10000, but traffic is only existent at NL1000 and below.

Omaha High and Omaha Hi/Lo, though offered in fixed limit and no-limit are most prevalently trafficked on the Pot-limit tables, once again with the majority of play happening on the short-handed tables.

7-Stud, 5-Stud and Razz get very little traffic, and usually at the very lowest microlimits. 5-Card Draw is lightly trafficked in the smaller NL and FL buy-ins.

MTTs get a very decent turnout. Players can find many tournaments and structures to suit their taste. Whether those tastes are guaranteed prizepool tournaments, freerolls, turbo tournaments or qualifiers to bigger events, all can be found at Gnuf Poker.

SnGs are offered with buy-ins as low as Euro0.50/Euro0.10 up to and including Euro1000+Euro90. Players may play 2, 3, 5, 8 or 10 handed. There are also 18-seat [3 tables of 6], 20-seat [2 tables of 10], and 30-seat [3 tables of 10] SnGs. Gnuf Poker also offers turbo SnGs, satellite SnGs to the $150,000 weekly guaranteed tournament and "Rounders" SnGs. These are step tournaments where progressive good showings can land you at the 5th round and the $3,000 first place prize.

    Sit n Go Big

Sit n Go Big are regular SnG tourneys with an added twist. A combination of first and second finishes in 5 consecutive games will score you a Small Jackpot of up to 500 USD, depending on the table. But if you're on a roll and win 5 consecutive SnG tourneys, then you can claim a Big Jackpot - again depending on the table. For instance, at the Copa, Copacabana, you can win a massive 25,000 USD.

    Copacabana $25+$3 $25,000/$500
    Bondi $5+$1 $12,500/$300
    Acapulco $2+$0.50 $1,000/$100

Prize money reflects 5 consecutive 1sts/5 consecutive 1sts or 2nds.

Simply send an email to Gnuf Customer Support at support@gnuf.com, giving details and dates of the games within 48 hours of the final consecutive game. After validating the claim, the prize winnings funds will be added to your Gnuf account balance.

    Refer A Friend

Refer a friend and reap the benefits. 50 USD for you when your friend signs up and deposits, and another 25 USD for your buddy as well as a 100% first deposit bonus up to 50 USD.

    Bad Beat Jackpot

Four of a Kind or better is beaten. The loser of the hand receives 50% of the progressive bad beat jackpot, the winner gets 25%, and the remaining 25% is split among the other players in the hand. Both of the winning and losing hands must use both hole cards to qualify.

    Magic Hand

From time to time Gnuf Poker management picks a hand number at random in advance and declares it a Magic Hand and establishes what the prizes will be. When that magic hand is dealt, the winner of the hand wins the main prize and all other players in the game each get a second bonus amount. (If you sit out you don't qualify!)

The Magic Hand bonus of $500 will be awarded every 1,000,000 hands dealt (approximately every 2 days).

Three people must receive cards in the hand
Must be a real money table
Must be a ring game table (Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, 5 Card Stud, 7 Card Stud)
Winner of the hand will get $250
All other players that received cards will have $250 divided equally amongst them.
There will also be a special prize for every 10,000,000 hands dealt of $1000 (a single $500 bonus plus $500 divided equally among the participating players).

Gnuf is licensed and regulated in Malta by the Malta Lotteries and Gaming Authority, license number LGA/CL3/302/2006 and subject to the demands and regulations on Security by the licensing authority. Gnuf and the Microgaming Poker Network strive to provide the most secure and trustworthy gaming environment on the Internet.

    Gnuf Poker Customer Service
Gnuf Poker email customer service is hit and miss. Of three emails sent to their customer service, only one was answered. It was, however, concise and directly answered the questions asked. Gnuf Poker has no live chat function, but does have toll-free telephone numbers. According to various sources, Gnuf Poker has industry standard payouts, although none are instantaneous. Gnuf Poker suggests that they have a 24-hour hold on payouts prior to processing.
    Gnuf Poker Poker Tracker Compatibility
Gnuf Poker is compatible with Poker Tracker in all Holdem, Omaha and Stud Cash games, but is not compatible with Omaha nor Stud tournaments or SnGs. Gnuf Poker is also compatible with Poker Tracker 3's cash game program. Should this change in the future, ITH will update this information.
Ability to Multitable at Gnuf Poker
Players may play on 5 tables simultaneously at Gnuf Poker.
Multiple Gnuf Poker Accounts per Household
Gnuf Poker allows multiple household accounts. Players will not be able to play together on the same cash games nor SnGs, but may play together in Multi-table tournaments. Gnuf Poker reserves the right to limit bonuses to one account per household.
    Gnuf Poker Tournaments with Overlays
A tournament overlay is the result of guaranteed prize money that is not offset by the participant's buy-ins. As such, all freerolls and FPP freerolls always offer an overlay.

Players at Gnuf Poker share their SnG and Multi table tournaments with other members of the MicroGaming [Prima] Poker Network. Becasue of this high volume of traffic, players will generally only receive overlays on any freerolls and small guaranteed tournaments running in the off-hours of the early morning.
