Crazy Poker Software
Crazy Poker has decent, if toned down software. They use a standard green felt table. The background is royal blue-cushion chairs upon a subdued crimson carpet which is easy on the eyes. The purple-backed logo cards can be set to four-color mode, making suit determinations much easier. Players are offered large table, standard table or mini-view table size options. Crazy poker has very good note taking capabilities with automatic text wrap feature and the ability to color code opponents as the player sees fit.
The main menu is well-laid out with a number of filters available to make a player's navigation easier. Cash games and tournaments can be toggled in the left-side filters. However, if there are more than one page of tables for selection, they are laid out in contiguous pages which make it much more difficult to maneuver in and filter. Setting a filter by buy-in, for example, will not alter the entire page layouts from one extreme to another, but rather only on a per page basis. The cash game menus include hands per hour as well as player percentage per flop.
Crazy Poker's software is a bit slow, however. Items requiring refreshing sometimes take a while to do so, especially the tournament leaderboard screens. Like the main menu screens, the tournament position pages are contiguous and very difficult to navigate.
However, more importantly, the table software at Crazy Poker flows with very few hang-ups and slowdowns in the action. Players always know where they are at in the hand as the player cranberry placards darken when players fold or sit out, and a nice optional feature of the red and green placard borders help differentiate between who has done an action and who is still awaiting an action.

Crazy Poker Games
Crazy Poker offers Holdem, Omaha High, Omaha Hi/Lo, 7-Stud and 5-Stud as well s Multi-table Tournaments [MTTs] and Sit and Gos [SnGs].
Hold'em Poker is the staple of Crazy Poker. Tables are offered in fullring, 6-max, Heads-up and turbo modes. Players will find fixed limit traffic at most limits, especially 6-max tables. Full ring fixed limit is only consistent at limits of $1/$2 and below. Fixed limits run from $0.05/$0.10 to $100/$200. Pot-limit is offered but rarely gets any traffic. NL has buy-ins ranging from NL10 to NL20,000. Play is predominantly 6-max up to the highest buy-ins, although fullring can be found as high as NL100.
Omaha High and Omaha Hi/Lo, though offered in fixed limit and no-limit are most prevalently trafficked on the Pot-limit tables, once again with the majority of play happening on the short-handed tables.
7-Stud and 5-Stud get very little traffic, and usually at the very lowest microlimits.
MTTs get a very decent turnout. Players can find many tournaments and structures to suit their taste. Whether those tastes are guaranteed prizepool tournaments, freerolls, turbo tournaments or qualifiers to bigger events, all can be found at Crazy Poker.
SnGs are offered with buy-ins as low as $0.75/$0.25 up to and including $1000+$100. Players may play 2, 3, 5, 8 or 10 handed. There are also 15-seat [3 tables of 5], 20-seat [2 tables of 10], and 30-seat [3 tables of 10] SnGs. Crazy Poker also offers turbo SnGs, satellite SnGs to the $100K weekly guaranteed tournament and "Rounders" SnGs. These are step tournaments where progressive good showings can land you at the 5th round and the $3,000 first place prize.

Tournaments with Overlays
A tournament overlay is the result of guaranteed prize money that is not offset by the participant's buy-ins. As such, all freerolls always offer an overlay.
Crazy Poker offers many guaranteed prizepool tournaments on a daily basis, and some of these guaranteed prizepool tournaments do not fill up, so there is a tendency of some of it's guaranteed tournaments to offer overlays.

Piscivorous Discretionary Poker Room Bonus Rating
Crazy Poker's bonus review has improved markedly in certain aspects since my original review in September of 2006.
They moved from a 5x bonus of $40 to a harder to clear but much more lucrative 100% up to $1000 bonus. They continue to give a $10 free bonus when players register a credit card.
Although the bonus is no longer a 5x raked hand bonus [it has been replaced with basically a 12x bonus], it now has the added benefit of being clearable through MTT and SnG play at a 33% rakeback rate.
Downsides include the 60 day clearance window, the necessity of emailing customer service as each $50 increment clears and the unfortunate lack of reloads.
Players also should be aware that they need to satisfy a 100 raked hand requirement before withdrawing from Crazy Poker.
