Celeb Poker's software was created by Boss Media AB. The table software is impressive, with the table using a blue-felt, blue chairs and blue carpet. The graphic look and feel is very fluid and easy to manipulate. Players are represented by circular placards, where the player's nickname and present chipstack can be found. Move the mouse cursor over each placard and the player's location is revealed. On the top of the placard is the icon for the note function which uses the wrap-around text function, Players who sit out or fold are easy to identify, as such actions are clearly visible on their placards. Celeb Poker has recently added a four-color deck option and individual in-game statistics. Players can see their results and statistics at the click of a mouse. Players have access to Hand History files, but unfortunately, these are not compatible with Poker Tracker at this time.

The main menu software screens are very well laid-out with many filters allowing players to quickly and effortlessly find the right table, limit, or tournament to suit their needs. Players can further filter their information to reflect their own time zones, which is a great feature found in very few other online platforms.

Celeb Poker Games

Celeb Poker offers a variety of cash games and tournaments. Cash games are available in fullring and 5-max versions.

Hold'em is the industry standard, and is highly trafficked at Celeb Poker. Stakes in fixed limit run from $0.05/$0.10 to $500/$1000. However, most traffic can be found on the $5/$10 tables or lower. Celeb Poker has many avenues for getting questions answered. They have an online live chat feature that put players in an order prompt and usually responds within 5-6 minutes. Players may also email them. Average response time is 1-4 hours. Players may also call them toll-free and have their questions answered specifically. Cashout speed, however can be poor with FirePay and NETeller taking sometimes as long as 4-7 days.

Celeb Poker is the first Boss Media poker site that I reviewed for ITH. I fell in love with the software despite being unable to play there due to my American citizenship. There are at least three drawbacks to the bonuses at Celeb Poker. First of all, any bonus that cannot be cleared in SnG or MTT play has got a strike against it. Second, the bonus is essentially just 20% rakeback for the duration of the bonus. Finally, there has been infrequent reloading. The last reload was January 2006 that I am aware of. Perhaps they have offered individual-based reloads? There is enough right about their bonus, however to make up for the shortcomings. A year to clear, payable in $10 increments and the fact that it is as large as it is [$500], makes this a very attractive bonus if the player is willing to put in the time on the cash tables.
