bwin Poker Software

bwin Poker uses the OnGame poker software and shares it's tables and players with the other members of the OnGame Poker network. Players familiar with OnGame will find the software is decent and unimposing.

The table graphics at bwin Poker is black felt tables with a black leather-looking rim. The bwin logo adorns the center of the table. The background is a dark wood floor and the hint of a nightline. Players are represented by CGI avatars, but these can be toggled off through the options menu in the main menu toolbar. When toggled off, players are represented by placards that show the player name and chip amounts. Playing card backs look like little more than poor representation two-dimensional white on black outline drawings. Cards can be toggled between true color and 4-color decks. Player's note-taking functions have a very handy color tag system where players can set up their players reads to specific button colors and emblems. The note-taking function, however, doesn't have true wrap-around text.

The main menu is very well appointed with numerous filters and buttons designed to make finding the proper table and game easy. An added nicety is that any players you have tagged from previous cash or tournament sessions will show up in the cash game lobbies and tournament screens. This makes table selection even more powerful, especially in cash games.

bwin Poker's main menus, however, have a major drawback. The ultra black on black menu is a bit disorienting to look at with few graphic details. As always, bwin Poker, as part of OnGame is a resource intensive poker platform. bwin Poker can be run on Windows, Linux and Macintosh platforms as well as mobile platforms like your cell phone.
