BetUS Poker Software

The software at BetUS Poker is shared by all members of the Cake Gaming Network. As such the table software and menus are generally different color schemes of the same basic toolkit.

BetUS Poker's table is standard green felt with wooden trim with high-back chairs surrounding the table. Players are represented by realistic looking avatars which may be turned on or off. Players also have the option of utilizing a more simple table view where players are represented by placards and no chairs or accoutrements are provided. Players have access to a superb statistics screen which gives them a full rundown of each individual table's play. Each statistics screen resets as you leave the table adding to it's flexibility. Note taking function is very nice with an auto-wrap feature and player tagging options and a brief look at their notes when your cursor goes across their tag. Players can switch between six different card back colors and have access to a four-color deck option. As is standard, players can turn chat on and off as well as a myriad of other nice features.

The main lobbies and screens are well laid out with many filters that players can set to their own tastes. Two different buttons allow for switching between Ring Games and Tournaments. Other buttons allow for Cashier, Rewards, My Account, Help and Login screens.

The ring game screen has buttons further defining player choices. All the menus are easily navigable and include Player s Seeing the Flop percentages, Average Pot Sizes and Hands per hour to further help players with table selection.

Overall, BetUS Poker selected a nice platform to run on. Gone are the days of Cake Poker's frequent disconnects and software lock-ups which plagued the platform in their infancy. What the player has inherited now is a nice playing environment with nice graphics, somewhat smooth plays and very nice features. Their constant tweaking and improvement of their software is one of the reasons why this newer poker platform is consistently seeing more and more traffic.

BetUS Poker Traffic

Traffic at BetUS is decent but not large. With traffic anywhere from 1,000 to 5,000 during peak week hours and up to 8,000 on weekends, players will usually find the games or tournaments they wish to play around the clock.

BetUS Poker Games

BetUS runs a wide variety of poker games, tournaments and Sit and Gos [SnGs]. Players can find everything from Texas Holdem, Omaha and Omaha Hi/Lo. Although BetUS features tabs in its main lobby menus for 7-Card Stud and 7-Card Stud Hi/Lo, they have not started making these games available. We will update this as they change their software.

Texas Holdem is the mainstay selection at BetUS. Their Fixed Limit games are available in full ring, 6-Max and Heads-up variations with stakes ranging from $0.04/$0.08 through $100/$200. Pot-limit Holdem is available in buy-ins from PL10 to PL600, although there is little traffic in this variation. No-limit Holdem is where most of the traffic resides for cash games. Players can find stakes between NL4 and NL60000. Full ring, 6-Max and Heads-up games are all available.

Although BetUS offers Fixed Limit Omaha, there is rarely traffic there. PL Omaha, however, sees decent traffic especially on the 6-Max and Heads-up tables. Players will find stakes ranging from PL4 to PL20000. Omaha Hi/Lo sees traffic in Fixed Limit, Pot-limit and No-limit formats. Fixed Limit stakes run from $0.50/$1 to $3/$6. Pot-limit buy-ins can be found in stakes from PL4 to PL5000. Finally, No-limit buy-ins are between NL4 and NL600.

Tournaments are available in all limit types as well as Heads-up, 6-Max and 10-seat. Players will find daily, weekly and monthly guarantees as high as $250,000 as well as many satellites to big live events like the World Series of Poker and the Irish Open. Rebuys, turbos, deepstack and other special tournaments are available on a daily basis.

SnG traffic is decent and players can find stakes ranging from $1+$0.10 to $200+$8 in a variety of formats. Players can find anything from heads-up to 3-Table SnGs to satellites and even SnGs that have entrance fees of Gold Chips.

How do I earn Gold Chips?
When you play at real money games or pay tournament fees, you will earn Frequent Player Points (FPP). As you accumulate FPPs, you begin to fill in your Gold Chip Meter. Once your Gold Chip Meter is full, you will receive the Gold Chip that is viewed here to the right of the meter. Once you earn a Gold Chip, it is yours to keep. What do I do with my Gold Chip?

The Gold Chip Meter Changed. Why?

Gold Cards

BetUS Poker has created 5 million Gold Cards and tucked them safely away in their secure Gold Card Vault. Each Gold Card is stamped with a unique 'Series 3' seal, making these 5 million cards the only 'Series 3' Gold Cards in existence.

You will win Gold Cards by playing at real money Ring Games. Each time you're dealt cards, one or both of the first 2 cards you are dealt may transform into a Gold Card at the end of the hand even if you folded your cards during the hand.

Gold Cards are chosen via BetUS' Random Number Generator (RNG) when a certain amount of rake is collected. This amount is reached much more quickly at a $2/4 FL table than a $.25/.50 FL table. When the appropriate amount of rake is collected the RNG chooses a Gold Card from the Vault. However, there is no guarantee that the selected Gold Card will match any players 'hole cards'. If there is no match then another Gold Card is randomly chosen each hand until a match is found. This may take several hands and may even coincide with the selection of the next Gold Card if enough rake has been collected. Therefore the same player may be awarded 2 or more Gold Cards in a row.

Once you've won a Gold Card, the fun doesn't stop there. Every day, BetUS Poker will announce a Gold Card Daily Lottery. The Lottery will allow players who have the winning Gold Cards in their collection to redeem them for cash or tickets to exclusive tournaments. Or, players can choose to hold on to their Gold Cards and try to redeem them for larger Series 3 Guaranteed Prizes, including our $52,000 Gold Card Jackpot..

How to win Gold Cards
The first two cards dealt to you at any real money Ring Game are eligible to become Gold Cards at the end of the hand, even if you fold them.

All Gold Cards are randomly drawn from the secure Gold Card Vault whenever a real money Ring Game table has generated the required amount of rake. This means the higher the stakes of the table, the more guaranteed Gold Cards will appear per hour.

BetUS Poker Tournaments with Overlays

A tournament overlay is the result of guaranteed prize money that is not offset by the participant's buy-ins. As such, all freerolls and FPP freerolls always offer an overlay.
