Piscivorous' Discretionary BetFred Poker Bonus Rating BetFred Poker's bonus is slightly better than the terms I received for Noble Poker back before the UIGEA shutdown the iPoker Network for American citizens. I was playing roughly 30 hours per week and multi-tabling at least 2 tables back then, but remember clearing the bonus in plenty of time. The problem is, the clearance window is now only 30 days. That said, players with less time or who do not like playing multiple tables may have some difficulty clearing this bonus. It is a lucrative bonus for an adept player, however. BetFred [and iPoker in general] is full of loose players, so not only will a good player be able to beat the rake here, but will also be able to profit nicely from the bonus. An added plus to BetFred's bonus is that it pays out in $10 increments which means that players can clear as much bonus as they wish. There are several drawbacks to this bonus, however. The rate of clearance via tournaments is 30-70% rakeback, dependent on VIP Club level. As you increase VIP Club level, the rakeback for tournament and SnG fees rises above industry standards. The lack of reloads means that once you have run through the initial deposit bonus, BetFred becomes less attractive than other iPoker Network sites that do offer reload bonuses. Finally, micro-limit grinders will find this bonus fruitless. Since rake at tables below $0.50/$1 is taken at the rate of $0.05 per $1 pot size, limit players will have an extremely hard time getting VCPs in enough quantity to release their bonuses, as $5 pots [necessary to generate $0.25 in rake] will be hard to come by.
